Recently I bought a bag of postcards at a local thrift shop. I couldn't see what I was getting, but there seemed to be some gems peeking out. This is one of my favorites. I wonder how a picture taken today would compare to these.
Maybe it’s your grandmother’s pearl necklace or just a cheap pair of fun earrings you just bought... either way, you’d rather wear it, not stare at it. If it’s broken, just mail it to me and I’ll mail it back fixed, ready to wear. {reasonable & affordable rates}
At some point we will have to move these roses and other flowers that were planted next to the house. We may want to re-stucco and we definitely need to re-grade the yard to slope away from the foundation. I hope they will be able to handle the move.
I admit I may have been too excited and harvested my first radish before it was ready, but I couldn't help myself. It was tasty, but not nearly as spicy as I'd hoped. Maybe with time the others will develop more of that perfect radish flavor.
This dimensionally awkward painting hangs in our dining room. My boyfriend's aunt, Nancy Morgan, painted it along with many other paintings of bouquets and cat portraits.
eating a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie with homemade whipped cream, while reading a book on the front porch.... heavenly (recipe from my favorite cookbook: The Spice Cookbook)
I took this photo in Taos in 1995. I love the colors found throughout New Mexico - the earthy reds and browns, bright blue sky, sage brush and more. I'm hoping to take a trip to Santa Fe sometime this summer to visit the O'Keeffe Museum to see her abstraction exhibition.
