Labor Day Weekend Celebration

I used this vintage postcard for the invite.

my celebration prep was easy: cosmos from the garden, candles and colorful dishes 

everyone brought their own burgers, brats and asparagus for the grill;
I made deviled eggs, cut up cantaloupe, and threw some kettle chips in a bowl for sides;
S provided the delicious campari and bitter lemon drinks;
and we all finished the night inside with L's game of Apples to Apples while eating my apple pie!

Hot Air Balloon Surprise

This morning I awoke to a strange whooshing sound from outside... almost like water being turned on and off in really intense amounts. It didn't make sense until I went outside and looked up!
