Thanksgiving Dinner

A truly homemade Thanksgiving dinner: green bean casserole from scratch (no canned soup here!), my own recipe for apple & sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes with mom's gravy, cranberry sauce (recipe from the trusted Spice Cookbook), and a beautiful free range local organic turkey cooked to perfection by Michael. So thankful for sharing it with my loved ones, and having fun: walks in the snow at night, many monopoly card games, and listening to Alice's Restaurant!

New Mexico Part 2

We started the day with perfect coffee and delicious scones from Ohori's, then drove North. Here are views from highway to Los Alamos, NM.

Happy Holidays!

I am such a lucky daughter! My mom baked and mailed me cookies (and divinity!!) -- SO delicious. What a treat!

My lemon rosemary cookies, lime meltaway cookies and chocolate cayenne cookies are ready to go in the oven for tonight and tomorrow's festivities.

Be safe and have fun!
