Book Cover Ring

This awesome ring was made by Ryan Hansen of Magic Industries. I posted his magic wallet I got for my birthday here. I know there are many people out there using old book covers in their creations, but Ryan has such a talent for using these covers, knowing just how to frame/cut/crop them. I was so excited to find this ring, which is from a kid's book on Peter Stuyvesant, illustrated by Jo Spier (who also illustrated my favorite cookbook -- The Spice Cookbook). If you have a favorite antique book that's falling apart, and you want to turn it into something you can wear or use -- he does custom orders!

Blue Marble Necklace

Finally figured out what to do with these huge, heavy marble beads:
add blue sea glass chips and make a necklace!
