Sunrise in Bellvue, CO

No funky camera filters needed - just an amazing sunrise.
I hope Larry knows how lucky he is to wake up to this view every morning!

Morning Rainbows

I love these Spring mornings - the Earth has shifted and the sunlight is once again hitting the crystals, hanging in the window, creating lovely morning rainbows.

My Idea of Heaven

My idea of heaven on earth would be to take off during the summer in one of these lovely vintage treasure-filled caravans. I would lounge, read books, play games, rock hunt, cook minimal yet tasty meals, and just be present in that sunlight. To find out more about this amazing book, click here.

Glowing Sunrise

A couple weeks ago, I awoke to an orange glow filling the room. I peeked out the window and saw a beautiful sunrise. So I jumped up and grabbed my camera -- which was in the studio, where I took a shot of the kitty in the window as I headed out. C woke up and grabbed his camera too, so we both documented the sunrise in our pjs on the back porch.

within minutes, the sky was less intense

after we came inside, Sam sat on C's lap at the table and as you can see, there was still a glow

hoping for sun

We all have enjoyed this sunny week, but the weather report is calling for rain today into this weekend! I know we need it but I was really hoping it would be another gorgeous day so I could work outside. I just bought a push / reel mower and am looking forward to the exercise and the smell of freshly cut grass. As I write this the sun shines brightly, but as I look up at Pikes Peak, I see heavy clouds covering it... and headed our way.

Hope you have a great weekend whatever the weather may be in your neck of the woods!
